Job Description
Key Outputs 
- Perform breakdown repairs and planned maintenance on earthmoving equipment to OEM standard
- Effective troubleshooting on equipment and to carry out diagnostics using CAT ET
- Effective time management
- Uphold and maintain contamination control
- Maintain professional image as Barloworld Equipment front line personnel
- Compile accurate report on repairs, services, diagnostics and machine inspections
- Carry out CAT inspect
- Effective control of own admin (daily labour booking, accurate service reports etc .)
- Provide customers with feedback during repairs and upon completion of repairs at customer's site.
- Uphold and maintain QMS standards
- To provide quality work on repairs and services
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Qualified artisan or Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment mechanic) NQF3
- At least 3 years post Trade test
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of warranty systems, policies and procedures
- Applicable product knowledge and technical knowledge
- Customer orientated
- Basic technical report writing
- Basic business and financial understanding
- Licence code B
- Computer literate (MS Office and SIS, ET)
