Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Materials and Logistics Coordinator for the processes around procured materials from purchase to handover on site.

The tasks you'll perform:
  • Ensure the quality of output of the vendor or contractor is managed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the delivery of materials procured (reporting, costs, and schedule) in accordance with the project plans and schedule
  • Foster and Maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Colleagues and Contractors
The expertise you'll bring:
  • Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
  • 5+ years' experience in Engineering in Materials Handling and Management within the minerals processing and/or related industries
  • South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Broad multidisciplinary knowledge in mineral processing plant / infrastructure construction
  • Proven knowledge of international and local law, regulation and practices around material handling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
