THE ROLE We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Executive to join our MEA marketing function and help drive brand awareness and demand generation campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, ambitious and energetic team and make a real impact! You will help plan and execute marketing efforts to generate pipeline opportunities, utilizing the full marketing mix, with a particular focus on Africa. OPPORTUNITIES You will work closely with our Sales Directors and their account management teams to identify opportunities for marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives You will develop, implement, and evaluate the success of online and offline lead generation marketing campaigns across a range of product lines including Core Banking, Payments, SaaS, Wealth, Islamic and Digital Banking to support Sales in existing and new business You will assist with planning and organizing our presence at Temenos hosted and industry events, taking the lead on logistics, collation of relevant marketing collateral and leads, liaising with internal stakeholders/speakers and providing on-the ground event support You will co-ordinate regional PR stories and Win or Go-live press releases, success stories/case studies with our internal PR Team and Social Media Team for maximum exposure You will work with our in-house Brand and Design Teams to oversee the marketing content creation process and ensure we're delivering high quality innovative content and assets in English and French You will develop regional campaign content for channels like emailers, WhatsApp Business, website landing pages and contact forms on with the support of our Digital Marketing Team to facilitate lead generation You will manage regional Partners and develop, implement and measure the success of any joint partner marketing activities and PR activity You will align with the Head of Marketing: MEA, on the Africa marketing budget spend/forecasting and manage the necessary administration around vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, invoices and liaising with the finance team You will be responsible for branding and collateral stock and order processing to ensure the brand is always well represented You will continually review the success of marketing campaigns, making segmentation, design or positioning tweaks and prepare quarterly reporting on Africa campaign performance You will work closely with Marketing operations and Sales to ensure lead monitoring and accuracy of campaign data, conversion rates and ROI measurement You will monitor, evaluate and report on pipeline generation and ROI of marketing activities You will support our Account Based and Deal Based Marketing initiatives, where relevant, to nurture prospects through to deal closure REQUIREMENTS You should have proven experience within B2B marketing. A plus if experience is within Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) You should have lead generation marketing experience and a history of demonstrating tangible ROI You should have strong written and verbal communication skills Previous experience with event marketing is highly desirable You should have good budget management and data-driven reporting skills You should have an interest in learning about the wider business, products and marketing's impact You should have experience multi-tasking and confidently managing stakeholders across Sales, Product and external vendors, partners and agencies Self-starter and collaborative team player with an energetic "can do" attitude You must be fluent in English Excellent MS Office skills French would be a plus ADDITIONAL INFO Based in Johannesburg office in Rosebank Hybrid working (office 2/3 times a week) with extensive travel throughout Africa including, French Speaking Africa Beneficial: Martech experience on tools like Pardot etc. VALUES Care about the lead generation marketing campaigns.
