Manager: Parts & Warehouse

What you will doThe main purpose of the role is to manage the parts department to ensure the profitability of the department and satisfy customer requirements
Reporting: This position reports to the Branch Manager.
Job Objectives:
- Operate Performance Appraisal and subsequent actions.
- In conjunction with After Market Manager maintain disciplinary system.
- Ensure required working hours are adhered to.
- Maintain adequate trained staff levels to achieve objectives.
Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction
- Follow up customer orders (especially back orders and VOR's) and provide feedback.
- Examine transactions to determine how to improve service.
- Deal with queries immediately.
Maintain agreed profit margins and return on investment
- Budgetary expenses within limits (5%).
- Overhead expenses within limits.
- Credit control.
- Stock levels up to date.
- Maintain stock in saleable condition.
Actively maintain and achieve acceptable market share
- Devote appropriate action to increasing market share according to the budget.
Warehouse Stocking
- Monitor cost of VOR,buy bulk as compliance to KPI.
- Do not overstock or under stock.
- Follow Volvo prescription on stocking.
- Maintain the integrity of the stock.
Ensure housekeeping of department according to requirements
- Ensure appropriate security measures.
- Ensure adherence to S.H.E. directives / requirements.
Compliance to ISO 9001 and Safety
- All process in your area of responsibility are following ISO standard.
- Ensure the safety process are followed.
- Ensure the Safety Act and Regulation is adhered to.

Qualification & Job Experience
- Matric.
- Warehouse/ sales management-Diploma.
- Specific Parts Training (Advantageous).
- 5 years sales / management.
- Basic Technical knowledge of the product.
- Warehouse Management.
- Administration.
- Staff Management.
- Basic Financial Management skills.
