For our location in Coega Gqeberha, South Africa, we have an immediate opening for a Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you are an integral part of the related team, providing guidance in all local financial decisions. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who will work closely with the Finance & Controlling Manager and General Manager to further improve the business.

Tasks:
  • Cost accounting:
  • Inventory Management
  • (In)Tangible Asset management
  • Project accounting management
  • Monitor & report on long outstanding Purchase Orders
  • Prepare & report on cash planning status (weekly & monthly)
  • Process and maintenance postings regarding general ledger
  • Review, control and post accruals as instructed by Finance and Controlling Manager
  • GRN account analysis & reconciliation
  • Oversee, Prepare & Update the necessary financial information for the Project Reports (PSM)
  • Prepare & update the necessary financial information for the Month-end reports
  • Assist with audits & preparation
  • Assist with the preparation of budget and forecasts
  • Assist in preparation & calculation of RFQs
  • Preparation of AIS claim
Required qualifications:
  • Finance / Accounting Degree or equivalent
  • Min 5 years-experience in accounting or finance
  • SAP knowledge - Inherent
  • Good planning, organizational and administrative skills, with proactive, structured approach
