For our location in Coega Gqeberha, South Africa, we have an immediate opening for a Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you are an integral part of the related team, providing guidance in all local financial decisions. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who will work closely with the Finance & Controlling Manager and General Manager to further improve the business.Preference will be given to employees from the Designated Groups
Tasks:- Cost accounting:
- Inventory Management
- (In)Tangible Asset management
- Project accounting management
- Monitor & report on long outstanding Purchase Orders
- Prepare & report on cash planning status (weekly & monthly)
- Process and maintenance postings regarding general ledger
- Review, control and post accruals as instructed by Finance and Controlling Manager
- GRN account analysis & reconciliation
- Oversee, Prepare & Update the necessary financial information for the Project Reports (PSM)
- Prepare & update the necessary financial information for the Month-end reports
- Assist with audits & preparation
- Assist with the preparation of budget and forecasts
- Assist in preparation & calculation of RFQs
- Preparation of AIS claim
- Finance / Accounting Degree or equivalent
- Min 5 years-experience in accounting or finance
- SAP knowledge - Inherent
- Good planning, organizational and administrative skills, with proactive, structured approach
