Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team
Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventative andpredictive maintenance programs.
- Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)initiatives.
- Ensure optimal asset lifecycle management andandcapital planning.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime andplanetefficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and maintenance costs.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on breakdownsand recurring failures.
- Ensure availability of critical spare partsand inventory control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance supervisors, artisans, and technicians.
- Manage performance, training, and successionplanning.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation andcompany HR policies.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenancebudget.
- Control maintenance costs while improvingefficiency.
- Manage contractors and supplier agreements.
- Lead capex projects related to plant upgradesand new installations.
- TradeTested Millwright
- NationalDiploma in Engineering advantageous
- Minimum 5-8 years' maintenance managementexperience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Experience with automated systems, PLCs,packaging equipment, and utilities.
- Strong exposure to food manufacturing(preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electricalsystems.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth /Uitenhage area
