Job Description
Reference: 10879 NB Consultant: Nine Broodryk Job Description 
- Perform general cleaning, repair, and maintenance work inside and around the building
- Report any defects, damage, or broken items on the premises
- Receive and supervise contractors during working hours and after hours (including weekends) for repairs, installations, or maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, gas cylinders, and emergency equipment
- Assist with moving tables, chairs, and other items for staff meetings and staff functions
- Support fleet management by completing and updating vehicle inspection checklists
- Carry out basic repairs to aluminium doors, frames, and windows
- Perform basic plumbing tasks and minor electrical repairs where required
- Apply safety rules and procedures when working with contractors and during all maintenance activities
- At least 5 years' experience in building maintenance
- Matric certificate is a minimum requirement
- Valid EB driver's licence
- Safety training will be an advantage
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good problem-solving skills
