Position: Lounge Technician

Job Overview

As a Lounge Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio and visual equipment in the ship's lounges. You will work closely with the Entertainment team to ensure that all events and performances run smoothly and that guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and test all audio and visual equipment in the lounges prior to events and performances
  • Operate equipment during events, making necessary adjustments and troubleshooting any issues that may arise
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed, ensuring that everything is in top working condition
  • Collaborate with the Entertainment team to plan and execute events and performances, providing technical expertise and support
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment and supplies, ordering replacements as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio and visual technology, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements as necessary
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to any technical issues or requests in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in audio and visual equipment setup and operation
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio and visual equipment and systems
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid passport for international travel
