The Logistics and Supply Chain Intern at Ontec will be responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of products to customers and managing orders for smaller customers. This position requires knowledge of logistics, inventory, and customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Delivery: Picking of stock, boxing and packing ready for collection or delivery once customer has paid.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely availability of stock ordered by customers for collection or delivery. Updating of courier company portal.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales orders through to invoicing and proof of delivery.
• Invoice to customers: Ensure that invoices to customers are performed timeously.
• Physical Stock counts: Assist with cyclical counts of the physical stock.
• Customer Relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer queries promptly and effectively.
• Communication with external and internal stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc duties: any other ad hoc duties that may be required within the logistics department.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Driver's License

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic MS Office knowledge will be an advantage.
