Logistics Coordinator (Humansdorp)

SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Agriland, Fertiliser department in Humansdorp.The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the procurement, storage, and distribution of fertiliser and related agricultural products.

• Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of fertiliser, seed, and soil supplements.
• Place and manage purchase orders according to operational requirements.
• Arrange the timely collection and delivery of products from suppliers to the store and customers.
• Source suppliers and negotiate competitive product prices, including delivery costs.
• Monitor market prices to ensure competitive quotations while maintaining acceptable profit margins.
• Work closely with marketers to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Manage store personnel and oversee daily store operations.
• Oversee regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure the security and maintenance of store equipment, buildings, and premises.
• Administrative duties.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• A post-matric qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• 2 years or more experience in a supervisory or leadership role will be advantageous.
