Logistics Coordinator

BKB is currently seeking a Logistics Co Ordinator who will be responsible for the planning and coordination of labour, equipment and various tasks related to the effective functioning of auctions.

• Grade 12 with at least 3 years' experience in an agricultural environment
• Valid EC license
• Valid PDP (Public Driver's Permit)
• Prepared to work long hours

• Planning and coordination of labour, equipment and building of pens for special auctions
• Management of wages employees
• Ensure effective and timeous delivery of equipment at auctions
• Responsible for maintenance of auction equipment
• Distribution of marketing material and all auction equipment
• Responsible for administration at auctions
• Organising of vehicle services, licensing and roadworthiness of vehicle/trucks
• Ensure that biosecurity measures are applied at auctions in collaboration with marketers, sellers and buyers.
