Accommodation: Live-in
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Lodge Manager or Management Couple for a luxury lodge located in the Greater Kruger region. This unique property is privately owned and not open to the public, hosting owners and occasional guests from the lodge group as reward stays.
This role is ideal for a hands on hospitality professional or couple who can manage the property, oversee maintenance and operations, and provide warm hosting when guests are in residence.
Role OverviewThe Lodge Manager or Management Couple will be responsible for the overall care and management of the property, ensuring the lodge is well maintained and operational at all times. When guests are in residence, the successful candidate will host, cook meals, and ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The role also includes guest transfers from Hoedspruit when required.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day to day management and upkeep of the lodge
- Ensure all property maintenance is completed and standards are maintained
- Coordinate and supervise any maintenance or repair work required
- Manage the lodge environment and ensure the property remains guest ready
- Host owners and visiting guests, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay
- Prepare and cook meals for guests when they are in residence
- Maintain high hospitality and service standards
- Arrange and conduct guest transfers from Hoedspruit when required
- Manage supplies and basic operational requirements for the lodge
- Previous lodge management or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong hosting ability with a passion for guest service
- Good cooking skills and ability to prepare meals for guests
- Valid driver's licence and PDP required
- Ability to collect guests from Hoedspruit when required
- Practical maintenance awareness and ability to oversee property upkeep
- Ability to work independently in a remote lodge environment
