Lodge Anchor (Maternity Cover) Luxury Lodge

Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a luxury lodge in the Sabi Sands that is seeking an experienced Lodge Anchor to oversee guest services and hosting during a maternity cover period. This role is ideal for a confident hospitality professional who excels in guest interaction and has a strong food and beverage background.

Role Purpose:

Acting as the primary guest services manager within the lodge

Hosting guests and ensuring their stay meets and exceeds expectations

Assisting with restaurant and bar stock control

Overseeing restaurant staff with regard to management, training, and service standards

Filling in for the Assistant Lodge Manager during cycle leave as required

Requirements:

Friendly, professional personality with strong hosting and interpersonal skills

Proven experience hosting international guests within a luxury hospitality environment

Strong organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills

Passion for the natural environment and sustainability

Strong food and beverage or guest services background, with both being advantageous

Sound knowledge of food and beverage, particularly wine, cigars, and cheese

South African citizenship advantageous; a valid work permit is essential
