POST: Lecturer PL1 (Communication & Information Processing)

DIRECTORATE: Business Studies (Report 191)

SALARY: R244,884 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION: May 2023 - 11 August 2023

CENTRE: Soshanguve South Campus

Requirements

Matric certificate plus a recognized M+3 Qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree) in Education with Information Processing and Communication as a major. Computer Literacy will be an added advantage. Must have SACE registration. Assessor and Moderator Certificates will be added advantages. Knowledge of legislation governing the TVET sector should be key.

Duties
  • Be responsible for learning area or phase and education of students to be promoted in an acceptable manner
  • Prepare lessons; assess; mark and record attainment of the student's work as well as management of students attendance
  • Assist with planning and management of textbooks and LTSM
  • Must be familiar with both report 191 and NCV programmes
  • Organize experiential learning; excursions and support intervention for students
  • Report and account for students performance in the programme(s)
  • Perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning
