SALARY: R.00 plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Qualifications

Requirements: Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree) in Education or Information Processing; Office Data Processing and Life skill.National Teacher Qualification. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). SACE registration. Assessor/Moderator qualification will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Legislation governing the sector.

Duties

Duties: The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching and supervision of students in the class and ensure effective functioning of the department by organising relevant curricular activities. Be responsible for learning area or phase and education of students to be promoted in an acceptable manner. Prepare lessons; assess; mark and record attainment of the students' work as well as management of students attendance. Assist with planning and management of text books and LTSM. Must be familiar with both report 191 and NCV programmes. Organize experiential learning; excursions and support intervention for students. Report and account for students performance in the programme(s). Perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
