CAMPUS: HR DEPARTMENT
LEARNING, TALENT & DEVELOPMENT PARTNER
The Head of HR invites applications from suitably qualified and energetic HR professionals to join our HR team as it advances our strategic intent of people growth and talent development across our seven schools and campus departments. St Stithians is a passionate, fast-paced and complex educational institution, with 427 full time staff plus a further 400 contract staff. This new position will be available from April 2026.
The requirements for this exciting position are:
- A relevant Human Resources tertiary qualification, supported by a minimum of 4-6 years' experience in generalist HR management with a focus on talent management.
- Sound knowledge and experience of the HR value chain with specific experience in recruitment & selection, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, training and development, reward and recognition and workforce planning.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written communication).
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problem, innovate and work collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels.
- High levels of integrity, confidentiality, emotional maturity and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to act impartially and in line with policies and procedures.
- Sound judgement and decision making.
- A resilient individual who can use initiative, prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to and cope with change.
- A strong appreciation of the importance of values in organisational culture, and a willingness to work within the Methodist ethos of the College.
- Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender's clearance certificate
