KYC Analyst - Onboarding (Late Shift)

Shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Position Overview:

The Onboarding Analyst will be responsible for the onboarding of new and existing clients, with a focus on our major wins across the US, Europe and Asia. Our clients typically provide us with information in large data sets which requires manipulation & extraction in order to provide an efficient, quick and effective onboarding. This role will include a focus on continuously improving the efficiency and accuracy of our onboarding processes using data and technology. The Onboarding Analyst must have KYC/ AML experience within the investment management industry, working with large data sets, be deadline driven and have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly & effectively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with New & Existing clients to improve the Sonata One onboarding experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients via written & video calls.
• Develop and implement efficient processes to better onboard new and existing client information in bulk.
• Utilize advanced problem-solving capabilities using Excel, SQL, and VBA Manipulate, cleanse, and extract data from excel and PDF packs to facilitate a quick and effective onboarding process.
• Track the status and timelines of all client onboardings from start to finish.
• Manage Data projects of all sizes, manage data projects plans and drive deliverables.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams involved in servicing the client.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of onboarding processes using your expertise in Excel, data analysis, and technology.
• Prepare department Management information to give insight into team output, capacity and process improvements.
• Conduct platform demos to showcase our service and highlight key features and benefits.
• Conducting of KYC reviews

• Work efficiently and accurately within defined processes.
• Proactively lead process and system improvements in order to maximize efficiency.
• Identify training needs and skills required.
• Work closely with all the relevant teams within Sonata One to onboard clients

• Support the use of technology in all processes in order to control risk and improve efficiency.
• Understand the system design and how it is applied.
• Lead on suggesting technology improvements in pursuit of efficiency and to minimise the time clients spend during the onboarding phase

• Must be highly numerate and analytical
• Strong/Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving capability using advanced Excel or SQL
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills. Be confident explaining reports to senior stakeholders
• Have a proactive and 'can-do' attitude
• Resourcefulness - ability to find information and ask the right questions to gain information/data
• Previous knowledge of KYC & Corporate Structures
• Hold a compliance/Due diligence qualification or law degree
