Junior Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering Graduate)

The purpose of this role is to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects by assisting senior engineers in managing project tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline requirements within the energy sector.

• Engineering degree - minimum
• Fully proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
• Experience:
  • Junior to senior engineer will be considered (0-3yr+ experience)
  • Even if experience is more in one arealike design or project management
  • Review/Supervision will be determined by applicant experience
• Preferred competence in following software:
  • PVSyst
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sketchup
  • Layout
  • AutoCAD

• Design of Solar PV systems
• All mechanical and electrical design and drawings for rooftop, ground mount, and storage systems
• Compiling of BOQ (Bill of quantity)
• Apply and drive Regulatory approvals
• Quality control of the system designed
• Professional engagement with suppliers and subcontractors
• Project management of solar PV plant, from site establishment to internal handover
• Management of timeline, budget, and quality
• Management of subcontractor
• Contract management
• Health and safety
• Progress reports
• Client management
• Building long term client relationships
• Managing client expectations
• Site visits as support service for project development team
