Introduction

ArcelorMittal South Africa is looking to appoint 7 x Junior Manager (Maintenance) at Iron Making

  • Responsible to execute reliability maintenance of all equipment services plans as per schedule
  • Responsible to improve equipment availability, reliability and accuracy in the area of responsibility and achieve defined KPI's
  • Work in close relationship with maintenance teams in and other relevant areas
  • Development of personnel (IDP's)
  • Manage of availability, reliability and quality of work performed on equipment and tasks being executed
  • Planning and scheduling of both resources and equipment
  • Manage subordinates and SAP Time and Attendance of subordinates
  • Data capturing of all relevant information on computer system
  • Focused on customer service
  • Root Cause Analysis on failures and project management
Qualification:
  • National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
  • Preferably a structured junior management development program
Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Maintenance management
  • Planning, scheduling and logistic experience in the workshop and outside areas
  • Background to manage Instrumentation maintenance budget
  • Specific experience in the instrumentation maintenance practices, to ensure
  • instrumentation equipment is well maintained and operate within specification
  • Must be familiar with the legal requirements with regards to maintenance practices and workshop maintenance
  • SAP and computer literacy
  • Sound knowledge of labour relation
