Junior Compliance Analyst South Africa - Remote

The Junior Compliance Analyst supports the Compliance Manager in ensuring that SportyBet South Africa operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, and internal policies. This role assists with day-to-day compliance activities, documentation, monitoring, and regulatory submissions, contributing to the organisation's broader risk management and governance framework.

• Compliance Monitoring and Documentation - Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation, registers, and internal records.
• Compliance Monitoring and Documentation - Support internal reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and licensing conditions.
• Compliance Monitoring and Documentation - Help track and monitor compliance deadlines, reporting calendars, and regulatory obligations.
• Regulatory Reporting and Submissions - Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, responses, and supporting documentation under the guidance of the Compliance Manager.
• Regulatory Reporting and Submissions - Help coordinate inputs from internal teams for licence renewals and statutory filings.
• Audit Support - Support the preparation for internal and external audits, including collecting evidence, updating documents, and liaising with relevant departments.

• Policy, Procedures and Internal Controls - Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, SOPs, and control frameworks.

• Stakeholder Support - Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Operations, Risk, Fraud, Finance, and Customer Support, to ensure compliance processes are followed.

• Governance and Administrative Support - Assist in preparing reports for senior management and the Board.

• Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, compliance, or similar.
• 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, Governance, or a related regulatory function.
• Cape Town based candidates preferred.
• Strong understanding of compliance principles and regulatory frameworks.
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies or potential risks.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
