Job Description
JUNIOR CLERK: STOCKPILE X1 (GRADING B1)
Qualifying Criteria:
- Grade 10, 11, 12, or equivalent qualification
- Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
- Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years' work experience within a gold mining environment
- Studying towards a mine sampling qualification will be advantageous
- Computer literacy will be advantageous
- Clear Criminal Record
- South African Citizenship
Responsibilities:
- Working a cycle of shifts
- Report and record daily, the source of ore the dump truck brings out of the mine
- Ensure the ore is tipped in designated areas; e.g. Crusher, Reef pile and or Waste pile etc.
- Practice and adhere to company sampling policies and procedures
- Always take instructions from the supervisor(s) responsible for the shift
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Group's safety motto : "Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely"
