Job Description

JUNIOR CLERK: STOCKPILE X1 (GRADING B1)

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Grade 10, 11, 12, or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
  • Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-2 years' work experience within a gold mining environment
  • Studying towards a mine sampling qualification will be advantageous
  • Computer literacy will be advantageous
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • South African Citizenship

Responsibilities:

  • Working a cycle of shifts
  • Report and record daily, the source of ore the dump truck brings out of the mine
  • Ensure the ore is tipped in designated areas; e.g. Crusher, Reef pile and or Waste pile etc.
  • Practice and adhere to company sampling policies and procedures
  • Always take instructions from the supervisor(s) responsible for the shift
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Group's safety motto : "Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely"
