A luxury lodge in the Cederberg region is seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Chef to join its kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef eager to learn, develop culinary skills and grow within a professional hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef with daily food preparation and service.
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
- Assist with stock control, food storage and kitchen organisation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen experience.
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
