Junior Accountant - Port Alfred

BVSA is looking for a dedicated and motivated Accountant to join our team in Port Alfred. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and professional accounting environment that values excellence, integrity, and teamwork.

• Drafting Annual Financial Statements for various entity types
• Managing and planning multiple client tasks and deadlines
• Preparing management accounts and supporting schedules
• Reviewing monthly accounting records
• Performing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial data
• Client communication and professional engagement
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation
• Timely submission of income tax, VAT and PAYE returns on e filing
• Relevant accounting qualification (BCom Accounting or similar)
• Completed SAIPA articles
• Experience in drafting AFS (Auditmate advantageous)
• Strong working experience on GreatSoft, Sage One, Xero, eFiling, SimplePay
• Experience in Income tax, VAT and PAYE return submissions
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and client relation skills
