Red Ember Recruitment is seeking, on behalf of our client, a Junior Accountant (SAIPA) to join their team based in Gauteng.

This office-based role is suited to a recently qualified SAIPA Professional Accountant who has just completed their articles. The position focuses primarily on preparing work papers and compiling financial statements within a cloud-based accounting environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality financial reporting.

• Preparation of detailed work papers
• Compilation of Annual Financial Statements
• Assisting with financial reporting and compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate financial records using cloud-based accounting systems
• Liaising with clients where required
• Ensuring all documentation is complete and audit-ready
• Supporting senior management with accounting functions when necessary

• Matric (Grade 12)
• SAIPA qualification (Completed articles - recently signed off)
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable vehicle
• Must be based in Kempton Park, Gauteng
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
