Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Job 
Reporting to the Automation Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to do maintenance installations on hydraulic presses, industrial robots, CNC machines, and spot welding guns as well.
Work ScheduleMust be prepared to work shifts (Rotating 3 shift system morning, afternoon, and night).
Knowledge Required- PLC programming (Siemens S5, S7 & Festo).
- Robotics (Kuka & ABB).
- AC/DC - Drives and Servo applications and drives experience.
- SCADA (Win CC, WinCC Flex) / HMI (Siemens, EBELT, BTxxx, Suetron) programming.
- SEW Motors.
- Profi Bus.
- Profi Net.
- TIA.
- Hanging Spot Guns Step 7.
- Root cause analysis.
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Electrical & PLC fault finding.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic/pneumatic drawings.
- Able to work on 3 phase 380 V.
- 2-3 years' experience in automation and instrumentation.
- Qualified millwright or electrician with applicable experience.
- T3/S4 diploma will be an advantage.
- 2-3 years as a technician in the electrical field, especially in automation (hydraulics, maintenance/robotics/projects).
