International Contract Manager

3C Metal Group, a subsidiary of the ORTEC Group, is an international organization with 1000 employees, specializing in engineering, fabrication, and installation of piping systems and steel structures. Our services cater to Oil & Gas markets as well as other energy sectors, including nuclear, renewable energy (solar thermal, wind, hydrogen), marine, and mining industries.

Based in Cape Town, South Africa and reporting to the Group International Legal Director (based in France), you will act as the legal point of contact for the operational management of 3C METAL entities outside France, specializing in structural fabrication and offshore assistance for Oil & Gas operators and the broader energy industry.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers
- Managing contracts and handling commercial claims (Contract Management)
- Contract lifecycle management and subcontract order follow-up
- Negotiation and resolution of commercial claims
- Providing legal advice and support to operational and administrative management teams
- Conducting training and awareness sessions for operational teams
- Monitoring legal developments and ensuring compliance
- Specialization in Commercial Law and Contract Law
- Minimum 5 years' experience as in-house counsel within a large industrial company
- Strong autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a strong asset
- Willingness to travel across multiple countries
