Job Specification - Internal Sales Position (CVs to HR by 14 th April 2026)
Based in Johannesburg
Job Purpose:
To assist sales consultants and management with admin and production issues
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- To sell and promote the company products and assist the sales staff.
- Good customer relations, willing to assist customers and develop relationships with all our clients.
- Assist with all customer queries, sort out problems or ensure deadlines are met.
- Keeping track of all orders and their progress. Inform customers of the progress or any problems that will affect their orders.
- Quotations - Process quotations on SFA and keep quotations and forecasting up to date.
- Processing of Sales Orders, Pro-Forma Invoices and Invoicing on Sage Evolution.
- Returns, follow ups, Filing, Maintenance calls, Samples, switchboard duties.
- Handling the sales consultant's calls and queries when they are out of the office.
- Checking sales consultant's emails and taking calls when the sales consultant is not available.
- Communicating any business -related issues and concerns to manager.
- Any other reasonable request from manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the lighting industry or retail would be preferable
- Experience as an executive PA will be given preference
- Experience on Pastel Evolution would be an advantage
- Must have a pleasant and cheerful nature
- Must have a clear and pleasant telephone demeanour
- Must have good communication skills, both verbally and written
