Standard Bank invites passionate and driven individuals to join our Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Technology Portfolio Administration Internship programme, where you'll receive training, coaching, and hands on experience.

  • Exposure in the Workplace: Dive into Essential Functions of the Portfolio Administration role which include:
  • Completing minutes for portfolio meetings, obtain approval and sign off of minutes from meeting chair and distribute minutes to meeting participants.
  • Conduct financial and budget management duties across the portfolio.
  • Conduct on boarding and off boarding for all support staff.
  • Coordinate portfolio workflow, activities, and schedules.
  • Drive and maintain the portfolio's documentation management system.
  • Manage all meeting and workshop logistical arrangements.
  • Manage the diaries of key senior portfolio stakeholders.
  • Oversee the arrangement of all travel requirements for portfolio stakeholders.
  • Prepare and collate portfolio presentations, reports and supporting information.
  • Report writing.
  • Support the portfolio team with any IT, HR and administrative queries.

Qualifications

A completed Diploma or Degree in;

  • Information Systems
  • Business Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Business Administration (with a preferred interest in technology or digital transformation)
  • Project Management (preferably with exposure to IT or software delivery environments)

Start Date: 1 July 2025

Monthly Stipend: R8000

Location: 3 Simmonds Office

  • Be a South African Citizen
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 30
  • Be able to speak, read and write English
  • No more than 6 months work experience
  • Have successfully completed a Diploma/Degree qualification
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Not be permanently employed.
  • Not be studying or registered to study at any other institution in 2025.
  • Not be registered on any internship or learnership in 2025.
