Job Description

  • Inputting monthly billing information (credit base movement, P and L) per magazine product assigned to them following billing on the 12thof each month.
  • Providing regular updates to the senior budget manager on the profit, expenses and income related to each product.
  • Updating related portfolio reports including, but not limited to, cost per acquisition (per channel) and profit per member.
  • Tracking and managing all accruals on expenses.
  • Invoice management including Coupa uploads, receipting.
  • Working closely with the relevant brand manager to understand product sales targets and actuals variances, highlighting areas of concern (e.g. cancellations, product expense ratios, promotional spend against ROI) and report on budget variances.
  • Working with the relevant brand manager on summaries on product performance including billings, profit and expenses.
  • Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders including the VAS finance team, telemarketing management and the stores channel manager.
  • Weekly reporting to the senior budget manager on all product budget related matters.
  • Variance reporting on income and expenses at regular intervals including weekly P & L views.
  • Ensuring all budgets formulas are correctly and consistently applied across the portfolio budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, Business or related qualification
  • Strong Excel skills and a deep understanding of budget management
  • Ability to effectively apply financial knowledge to ensure strategic growth of the portfolio
