Job Description

Teneo Education is seeking an experienced and dynamic Information Technology (IT) Teacher to join our IEB FET team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT curriculum, be confident using digital tools to deliver high-quality online instruction, and be committed to fostering an engaging, supportive, and interactive virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging IT lessons to students in an online format.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning.
  • Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Java or other relevant languages aligned to IEB requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in education and online teaching methodologies.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification and relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in IT, preferably with experience in an online education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
