- Dangerous Goods Certificate - required for hazardous materials transport roles
- Forklift Operator Certificate - required for warehouse and depot forklift positions
- Grade 10 minimum acceptable; Grade 12 (Matric) preferred by Imperial Logistics
- No tertiary qualification required
- 2-5 years of verified driving experience in the relevant licence class preferred
- Entry level depot and yard roles available for recently licenced drivers with a clean record
- A clean, unendorsed driving record is required for all positions
- Sound knowledge of South African road traffic regulations and the National Road Traffic Act
- Ability to complete trip sheets, logbooks, and delivery documentation accurately
- Basic vehicle inspection and fault reporting ability
- Physical fitness and ability to work extended shifts including nights and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to operate independently across long distance routes
