HVAC and Refrigeration Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands on professional who takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship and ensuring HVAC & R systems operate at peak performance. Purpose of the Role is to install, maintain, and repair HVAC & Refrigeration systems to the highest standards, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted service delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining system reliability while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• OTTC (Operating Theatre Technical Certificate), ACRA (Advanced Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning), or N-Stream Qualification
• Recognised Air Conditioning Trade Test
• Valid SAQCC Certificate (Safe Handling of Refrigerants)
• Minimum 3 years' hands on experience in HVAC & Refrigeration systems
• Proven experience in installation, servicing, and repairs
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
• Valid Driver's License
• Electrical and controls knowledge (advantageous)
• Relevant safety training
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required

• Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC & R systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
• Conduct testing of electrical circuits for continuity and safety
• Inspect system performance and proactively identify potential failures
• Assemble and install HVAC & R equipment
• Ensure full compliance with regulations, standards, and project specifications
• Supervise subcontractors and conduct quality inspections
• Provide cost effective technical recommendations
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and company policies
• Assist in identifying local HVAC & R manufacturers for technical support and skills transfer
