Job Description
PRIME PURPOSE OF THE POSITION We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support our busy Human Resources department with daily administrative tasks. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee records, onboarding processes, and general HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient HR services across the organization. Location: 37 Vineyard Road, Claremont, 7708, Cape Town Reporting Line: This position will report to the HR Director
Responsibilities- Collate the HR monthly reporting: headcount, new appointments, terminations, salaries, training statistics, leave report consolidation
- Capturing and filing of HR invoices and staff claims
- Managing aspects the recruitment process: job advert design, recruitment administration, candidate regrets, CV database maintenance and onboarding and of successful applicants
- Administer payroll, capturing new employees to VIP payroll system, provide support to farms during season, prepare and provide payslips
- Completion and submission of offboarding and benefit application documentation
- Filing and maintenance of employee records
- Assist HR Director with HR related administrative duties
- Arrange meeting venue logistics and set up of venue
- Planning and arranging social events
- Capturing of performance appraisals bi-annually
- Preparation of announcements for approval before distribution
- Assist HR Business Partner with collation of quarterly board report
- Annual B-BBEE administration
- Any ad hoc duties and responsibilities given by senior management
- Grade 12
- A Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources
- Computer literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum 3 - years HR experience
- Ability to work under pressure;
- High attention to detail;
- Proven and strong administration skills;
- Above average communication skills with people at all levels;
- Deadline driven;
- Dedicated and committed;
- Professional, punctual and organized;
- Valid driver's license and
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
