An established manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced HSE & Security Officer to oversee Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental compliance, security coordination, and facilities management at branch level. The role is responsible for ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, asset protection, infrastructure integrity, and the effective management of service providers.

Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Safety Management qualification (SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or Diploma in Safety Management)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Safety Officer within manufacturing, construction, or warehousing environments
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in security supervision and contractor coordination
  • At least 3 years' experience in facilities management, including preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation and compliance standards
  • Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency planning
  • Proven ability to manage service providers and security contracts
  • Experience overseeing asset control, access control, CCTV systems, and infrastructure security
  • Ability to compile structured reports and communicate effectively with management
  • Own reliable transport and willingness to respond to after-hours incidents when required
