We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in core HR functions and a passion for people development. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar position and will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: job advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding; partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure timely hiring
  • Employee Relations & Industrial Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations matters in line with company policies and labour legislation; handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution; ensure compliance with IR practices and reporting compliance including EE reporting and WSP/ATR submissions
  • Learning & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programs across departments; support career development planning and track training outcomes
  • Performance Management: Assist in managing performance review cycles; provide tools and support to leaders to drive high performance; KPI implementation
  • Payroll & HR Administration: Oversee payroll input and ensure accurate monthly processing in coordination with external payroll providers; maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and reporting structures
  • HR Reporting & Analytics: Compile and analyze HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making through surveys and engagement; maintain monthly dashboards, turnover reports, and other compliance-related reports
  • HR Projects: Contribute to HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and policy implementation
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role, preferably in a start-up environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
