Have you matriculated and want to join the hospitality industry, we're looking for motivated, fresh talent to join The Cape Milner Team. General Attendants who see to cleaning all guest rooms in the hotel and are not limited to Public Areas. The General Attendant will also need to work in the laundry at times which require washing of linen and towels as well as guest laundry. This role will also require you to work shifts as you will be required to provide a Turndown Service for our guests. High quality standards are required and attention to detail.

Main Duties
  • Cleaning of all guest rooms within the hotel.
  • Cleaning of Public Areas & Gym.
  • Required to work in the laundry and wash and iron linen as well as guest clothing.
  • You will be required to work shifts and provide a Turndown service.
  • Maintaining and handling of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Will be required to work in other areas of the hotel should this requirement be needed.
  • Report all maintenance issues in rooms and public areas to floor supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintaining and packing of housekeeping trolley and ensuring no wastage of stock.
Requirements
  • Proven record of previous housekeeping room cleaning in a 4 Property or similar.
  • Cleaning of Guest rooms, Public Areas, working in the Laundry and Providing a Turn-down service.
  • Able to work shifts (early and late).
  • Maintains safety and hygiene and look presentable.
  • Attention to detail is of utmost importance.
