a Beautiful Lodge and Safari Destination is seeking a meticulous and guest-focused Housekeeper to join our team. The primary goal is to create a Spotless, welcoming environment that reflects our lodge's 5-star reputation. This role is "hands-on" and requires a high level of attention to detail, especially during guest turnovers and daily room servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Guest Room Excellence : Clean and maintain guest suites to boutique standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces
  
• Linen & Laundry : Manage all laundry operations-washing, drying, ironing and folding-and ensure linen stores are correctly stocked.
  
• Turn-down Service : Perform evening turn-down services to property standards, including closing mosquito nets and preparing rooms for guest rest.
  
• Public Areas : Ensure the main lodge, reception, and common aread are immaculat at all times.
  
• Stock & Inventory : Monitor and replenish guest amenities , cleaning supplies, and minibar items.
  
• Maintenance Reporting : Promptly identify and report any repair needs or safety concerns to management.

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years' proven housekeeping experience in a Lodge
  
• Education : Grade 12 / Matric certificate; a hospitality qualification is advantageous.
  
• Skills :
  • Sound knowledge of hygiene regulations and health & safety standards.
    
  • Strong communication skills in English.
    
  • Physically fit and able to manage a demanding workload .
    
• Attributes : Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional appearance .
