The Homeware Manager will take full responsibility for the homeware department, which includes linen, bedding, kitchenware, crockery, and related accessories. This role involves managing stock orders, supplier relationships, and inventory levels, while ensuring the department remains well merchandised and competitive.
The individual will support customers in-store, prepare quotations, and drive sales both physically and digitally through managing website orders. The role also includes coordinating with the packing and dispatch team, supporting marketing initiatives, and monitoring competitor activity to maintain a strong market position.
Key Responsibilities- Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and supplier liaison
- Maintain merchandising standards and competitive pricing
- Assist customers and prepare quotations
- Drive in store and online sales
- Oversee website order fulfilment with dispatch team
- Support marketing efforts and monitor competitor activity
- Grade 12/Matric
- Strong retail management skills (minimum of 3 years in a senior/supervisory role)
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
- Knowledge of homeware products and trends
