Health, Physical Education & Science Teacher - Secondary

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our Health, Physical Education (HPE) and Science teams at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our Secondary Teachers are committed and contribute to the shaping of curriculum, pedagogy and pathways that enable students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. They are outstanding educators who develop academic curriculum for diverse pathways that will result in students achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching HPE and Science, along with a strong understanding of the relevant curriculum areas. They will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to develop, implement, and monitor effective learning programs. A genuine passion for these subject areas is highly valued.

A willingness to teach additional subjects is advantageous but not essential for this role. Salary range: $90,828 to $130,258 gross per annum
