Overview

Job Title: Health and Safety Support Administrator

Location: Remote (Western Cape, South Africa) occasional in-office attendance required (within travelling distance to Stellenbosch)

About the Role

Urang Property Management Ltd is seeking a detail oriented Health and Safety Support Administrator to manage a portfolio of properties. You'll coordinate Health and Safety services, liaise with Property Managers, oversee contractors and ensure compliance and risk management across your blocks. This is primarily a remote role with occasional office visits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your portfolio of properties and coordinate Health and Safety services.
  • Liaise with Property Managers and contractors to schedule services and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and compliance systems, including reports, invoices and risk assessments.
  • Prepare monthly Health and Safety reports and assist with annual budgeting.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance service efficiency.
  • Escalate incidents and non-compliance to your Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in project coordination and managing logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Health and Safety awareness or willingness to learn.
  • Independent, proactive and able to work remotely.
  • Must reside within the Western Cape, within travelling distance to Stellenbosch.
Desirable
  • Experience in property management or Health and Safety background.
Additional Requirements
  • Reliable internet connection (50 Mbps minimum).
  • Willingness to attend a skill-based assessment if successful after the first interview.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: R20,000 - R23,000 per month (depending on experience).
  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00 SA time (includes 60-minute lunch).
  • 15 days annual leave plus South African public holidays.
