Lead Operations Across a Premium Restaurant Group

An established group of high-end restaurants in Cape Town is seeking a senior Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day performance of multiple busy venues. This is a hands on leadership role for an experienced hospitality professional who can manage operations independently, drive efficiency, and maintain high service standards in close collaboration with ownership.

• South African citizen or valid South African work permit
• Minimum 10 years' senior management experience in leading restaurant groups or five star hotels
• Proven ability to manage large teams (700+ staff) across multiple sites
• Strong operational, financial, and systems management expertise
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Organised, mature, and confident operating in a high-performance environment
• Hands on management style with strong attention to detail and accountability

• Oversee daily operations across all restaurant venues
• Lead, mentor, and support senior management and large teams
• Implement and maintain operational systems, standards, and efficiencies
• Monitor financial performance, cost controls, and operational KPIs
• Ensure strong communication and alignment between teams and ownership
• Support strategic planning, growth, and continuous improvement
• Maintain brand consistency, service excellence, and guest experience
