Head of Finance Southern and Eastern Africa & CoO META is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the finance business partnership function, ensuring alignment of financial strategies with overall company goals. The role collaborates with executive management and business unit leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and sustainability. The role oversees financial risk management, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and leads the development of advanced financial models to evaluate strategic options. The role monitors financial performance, advises senior leadership on risks and opportunities, and ensures rigorous analysis supports all business and investment decisions.

• Provides strategic leadership and vision for the finance business partnership function, aligning financial strategies with the company's overall goals and ensuring that the finance team is a key driver of business success.
• Collaborates closely with executive management and business unit leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long term sustainability, ensuring that financial insights are integral to strategic decision making.
• Oversees the financial risk management, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for multiple business units, ensuring that financial plans are robust, data driven, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Leads the development of advanced financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic options, such as market expansions, new product launches, and acquisitions, ensuring that all recommendations are grounded in sound financial principles.
• Drives the financial performance of the organization by monitoring key financial metrics, identifying trends, and working with senior leaders to develop and implement corrective actions when needed to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Serves as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing expert financial insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and helping to shape the overall strategic direction of the company.
• Ensures that all investment decisions, including capital projects and business expansions, are supported by rigorous financial analysis and that they align with the company's long term strategic goals.
• Leads initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and tools across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and leveraging technology to enhance financial planning and reporting.
• Champions financial integrity and compliance across the organization, ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, while proactively addressing any financial risks.
• Monitors working capital KPIs, identifies structural improvement opportunities, and drives cross functional action plans to strengthen cash flow and support sustainable business growth.
• Collaborates closely with Accounting Operations teams and other relevant functions on the month end closing process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across all business units.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including operations, sales, marketing and other supporting functions, to ensure that financial perspectives are integrated into all major business decisions and initiatives.

• Bachelor/master's degree in business or finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Finance, in areas such as Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Auditing or equivalent in multinational companies.
• Audit experience is a strong asset.
• Solid analytical, Accounting and Internal Controls knowledge.
• Hands on, pro active, solution driven attitude.
• Strong communicative and people skills, able to build bridges between people and influence business decisions.
• Ability to understand and explain impact of developments on business results and ability to translate into financial consequences.
• Strong analytic and Microsoft office skills.
