Requirements

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Golf Course Handyman is responsible for a variety of general maintenance and upkeep duties across the golf course and its facilities. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations.

Qualifications
  • Physically fit
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, janitorial work, or handyman roles
  • General knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, painting
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance on golf course buildings, restrooms, signage, and other on-course structures and outdoor amenities
  • Ensure general cleanliness of the course, including cart paths and common areas
  • Clean and restock course washrooms regularly, ensuring sanitation standards are met
  • Empty and clean garbage cans across the course and dispose of waste properly
  • Perform seasonal maintenance tasks as required by managementMaintain tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition
