To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way.

Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC/Air-conditioning systems that will include inspections, servicing and minor repairs of air-conditioning units.

Troubleshooting of common mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance and ensuring efficient operating of equipment.

Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme

SAQCC Gas registration will be advantageous

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

5 years' experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme)

Perform technical jobs within the Locality

Perform administration duties within the technical function

Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality

Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality

Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function

• Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
• Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
• Ability to read layout plans and diagrams
• Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs
