To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way.

• Perform technical jobs within the Locality.
• Perform administration duties within the technical function.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality.
• Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function.

• Grade 10 or equivalent technical vocational qualification.

• Grade 12.

• Driver's license.

• Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme.

• 5 years' experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme).

• None.

• Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards.
• Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g., OHS and ISO).
• Ability to read layout plans and diagrams.
• Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
