Group Accountant

• Prepare financial reports for multiple group entities
• Maintain and control fixed asset registers
• Prepare weekly sales and monthly commission reports
• Review debtors and creditors ageing
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, COID, annual returns, and statutory filings
• Compile monthly management accounts for all group entities
• Support BBBEE compliance across trading companies
• Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Complete annual financial statements with auditors
• Handle tax planning, tax computations, and tax submissions
• Manage daily accounting transactions and month /year end closings
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting
• Monitor financial health, liquidity, and confidentiality of financial data
• Conduct regular database backups
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements timeously
