Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Quality Engineering
    • Or related field
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA) is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards in line with Volvo's global requirements
  • Conduct inspections and audits on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products
  • Support root cause analysis and problem solving activities (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why)
  • Collect, analyse, and report on quality data and trends
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 where applicable)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma)
  • Liaise with production teams to address quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
  • Problem solving follow ups (QRPS, RNCs, EWOs)
  • Audit preparation and action tracking
  • Environmental reporting
  • Shop floor quality monitoring
  • Digital reporting and system updates (GPS/ePS)
