German-speaking Customer Support
Job Description
We are hiring German-speaking Customer Support Agent to join an exciting international retail customer service project based in Umhlanga, Durban.
In this role, you will support German-speaking customers by providing professional assistance across multiple channels, ensuring an excellent retail and shopping experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Support Agent, you will:
- Handle customer queries in German via phone, email, and live chat
- Assist customers with retail-related inquiries such as orders, deliveries, returns, and product information
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service in line with brand expectations
- Resolve customer complaints and elevate complex cases when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions in internal systems
- Meet service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to enhance customer experience
To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- German language proficiency between B2 and C2 level (written and spoken)
- Good command of English for internal communication
- Customer service or call center experience is advantageous (retail experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate support systems
