Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the automotive manufacturing sector for a General Services Administration Manager to lead and optimise administrative operations across company-wide services.

This role oversees IT coordination, facilities and site services, procurement governance, audit compliance, and special project administration. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency in line with global automotive standards while driving cost control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Company & IT Administration
  • Develop and maintain administrative SOPs
  • Oversee IT vendor performance and SLA compliance
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle governance
  • Control departmental administrative budgets
  • Drive digital process optimisation
Facilities & Site Services Oversight
  • Negotiate and manage service contracts
  • Oversee CAPEX-related administrative projects
  • Ensure statutory and safety compliance
  • Lead vendor performance evaluations
  • Monitor cost optimisation initiatives
Procurement-to-Payment Governance
  • Oversee end-to-end P2P cycle
  • Approve high-value indirect spend
  • Monitor spend analytics and trends
  • Ensure full procurement policy compliance
  • Drive supplier performance improvement
Special Projects Administration & Management
  • Lead cross-functional administrative projects
  • Develop project governance frameworks
  • Manage project risk mitigation
  • Provide executive-level reporting
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead audit readiness initiatives
  • Maintain ISO compliance documentation
  • Drive process improvement projects
  • Manage corrective action plans
  • Mentor and supervise junior administrative and site support staff
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Facilities Management or related field
  • 6-10 years' experience in manufacturing administration
  • Advanced ERP proficiency
  • Proven project management or supervisory experience
  • Budget control exposure
Advantageous
  • Formal Project Management qualification
  • Experience within a multinational automotive environment
  • Exposure to audit leadership
