In South Africa, we have a workforce of over 500 staff.About the roleReporting to the SHER Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning activities, loading and off-loading of materials.

• Daily cleaning activities including but not limited to: vacuuming, washing of floors, cleaning of ablution facilities, cleaning of change rooms, cleaning of canteens, polishing of floors, and cleaning of office areas, washing of windows.
• Operating walk-behind floor scrubbers.
• Manual loading and off-loading of material from delivery vehicles.
• Cleaning of indoors and outdoors areas
• Clearing of weeds
• Empty waste bins
• Perform additional duties as needed

• National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during work
• Importance of customer service
• Consistently arriving on time, following instructions, and being accountable for tasks.
• A strong awareness of health and safety protocols is vital for protecting oneself and others in environments like manufacturing or construction.
• Eager, teachable attitude to acquire new skills, follow safety training, and adapt to new machinery.
• While often considered a physical requirement, the attitude of perseverance during physically demanding tasks (lifting, standing, moving) is a key attribute.
